Los resultados de la revisión de las propuestas de observación para la temporada de observación 2021-S1 (del 15 de marzo al 15 de septiembre de 2021; no se realizaron observaciones en 2021, pero se trasladaron de marzo a julio de 2022) se resumen aquí. La descripción del proceso de revisión por pares y la clasificación de las evaluaciones se pueden encontrar en la página Revisión de las propuestas por pares.
Se recibieron 75 propuestas durante la convocatoria de observación 2021-S1, solicitando un total de 1.703 horas de observación solicitadas. Los factores de sobresuscripción para cada comunidad de usuarios son los siguientes: México = 2.4, UMass = 2.4, EE. UU. = 2.3.
El tiempo disponible limitado para la temporada de observación 2021-S1 y la incertidumbre en el regreso a las operaciones normales del telescopio (debido principalmente a la contingencia sanitaria por COVID-19) hicieron que la asignación de los grados de prioridad de los proyectos fuera particularmente problemática. Por lo tanto, se seleccionó un pequeño número de proyectos de mayor prioridad de cada comunidad para “transferir” a la próxima temporada de observaciones. A continuación se presentan las listas de prioridad entregadas por el CAT.
