AzTEC: Large Map Mode Calculator

The sensitivity/integration time calculator gives our estimate of the integration time required to image the sky to a given sensitivity and over a given area. We have not included overheads in the calculation as these are yet to be determined (but will be less than a factor of 2).

Example:
How much time do I need to image a 100 sq. arcminute field to 0.2 mJy rms with 8″ resolution with AzTEC?
Field area = 100 sq. arcminute
Map depth = 0.2 mJy
Required Integration Time = 114 hours

For the Rastajous map mode use this calculator with a fixed area value of 20 sq. arcmin. No turnaround overheads need to be added to the integration time given by the calculator.
